Our history dates back to the beginning of the last century, and today Bormio's ski area runs from an altitude of 3.012 metres down to 1.215 metres with the biggest difference in elevation of the Alps (1.800 metres).

Bormio, together with Santa Caterina Valfurva, Livigno and Valdidentro, forms an even bigger ski area: Alta Valtellina. 220 kilometres of downhill slopes for expert skiers, intermediate pistes and several teaching areas for beginners, 80 kilometres of cross-country ski runs and two snow parks.
